Week 42. Bookish Emoji
A great excuse to use my emoticons.
Bookish Emoji (えもじ) is an original meme here at Aeropapers where I’ll give weekly prompt that is related to being a bookworm (or anything book/blogging related) with corresponding emoticons.
Hi everyone, this is the official launch of my brand new meme here called Bookish Emoji (I have to use emoji because it sounds cuter and me being a huge otaku). I love emoticons. I think I have different set of emoticons (smilies) saved in my hard drive for future use. I was browsing my files when I stumbled across them and I had this rare light bulb moment, but to cut the story short, I wanted to fuse two things I love and this meme was born. Anyway, just in case you’re wondering what is emoji or emoticons (but I know you already know it, this just me straightening it up the terms);
Emoji (絵文字, or えもじ); Japanese pronunciation: [emodʑi] is the Japanese term for the ideograms or smileys used mostly in Japanese electronic messages and webpages. (wiki)
Starting this week with something cute;
For Week 42:
I when I got new books.
Why: It’s always a great feeling to buy, receive, (or gifted) new books. The feeling of starting a new story, investing onto new characters; it’s really a great feeling to have. It’s why book haul is very popular because we want to share our new books to others. We admire everything about the book: we smell the freshly, out from the print pages, stare at the intricate art cover, touch the embossed title of the book, dance with it, or just like me, frolicking across the room. LOL, ok I might be exaggerating a bit but really the satisfaction of getting new books remains the same every time for me.
So how about you, how do you describe your feelings when you get new books?
