Brand new week means spanking new reads.

Hot of the Press is a weekly meme where I showcase books that I’m planning to read that due to be published this week. Plus, if I’m fortunate enough to have read the book and already reviewed them courtesy of the advance copies I received; I will also highlight them here. Just in case you need a little help deciding if you want to read it and want prior opinion about it. You are very much welcome to read at my weird reviews.

Planning to Read: March 03 –  08

  • Some like It Wild (The Wild Ones #2) by M. Leighton
  • The Assassin’s Blade (Throne of Glass 0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas
  • The Blue-Haired Boy by Courtney C. Stevens
  • The Winner’s Curse (The Winner’s Trilogy #1) by Marie Rutkoski

I have a sampler of The Winner’s Curse, I decided not to read it, I might like it and I will just end up agitated when I couldn’t continue, so yeah. I’m also excited for The Assassin’s Blade. I’m collecting the UK version of the series (the white ones) but I don’t see it on TBD so I have dilemma here. *boo!!!*

– I also received tons of eARCS last week; most were from Simon & Schuster. I’m so excited for Sublime by Christina Lauren, I’ve been eyeing it for a long time, weeeeeh!!! I love ARCs, you guys, but my TBR is overflowing with books. There’s really such thing as “too many book.” There is! But I’m not complaining, I love me some more books! >.<

– Bookworms in the country, National Bookstore will be holding book signing for Kate Evangelista (author of Taste) and who happens to be a Filipino (I’m still surprised, so proud of her), as well as NYT Bestselling Author, Becca Fitzpatrick (author of Hush, Hush saga) this March. Are y’all excited? Go to NBS facebook account for more deets (and btw, I’m not going to either of the signing :P).

How was your week, guys? Any news you would like to share? Eyeing new releases, too, care to share it with me?
