Week 32. Top Ten Tuesday
Tuesday is for top ten list! Here’s mine!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that bloggers will answer.
The topic for this week is: August 6: Top Ten Books I Wish Could Have Had Sequels (they were complete stories but you just could have read more and more about these characters or set in that world)
It’s so hard to find books because most of them have sequel. And I really, really want to list books that are really standalone. I check my categories in goodreads and found out that half of the books I listed as ‘standalone’ have sequels. It’s really hard to ignore the call of the fans, haha. Most of the time, I’m pretty contended with ending & epilogue that I rarely ask for a sequel. Besides, most of my faves are part of the series. But there are still these fella that craves me for more:
- A Match Made in High School by Kristin Walker • Because I ship Todd & Fiona. *grumbles*
- Easy by Tammara Webber • While I do love the ending, I do want to know how they relationship has developed overtime. I think the progress of their relationship was clipped short after the incident. Like, ok they weather the storm so what’s next?
- Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park • I know there’s a novella but me want another dose of that hottie Matt in novel length form.
- Megan Meade’s Guide to the McGowan Boys by Kate Brian • *grabs picket sign & chants* Megan and Finn! Megan and Finn! Megan and Finn!
- Sleepless by Cyn Balog • Me love some more of the sandman! (even though he’s a…ok spoiler alert. It just… That’s it!)
- Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne • The best and worst about Rachel Hawthorne’s chick lits? The ending is always the beginning of the relationship. I want to see them IN a relationship!
- The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg • Patrick!!! /nuff said.
- Torrential Eva Morgan • There’s more. I can feel that there is more. And I wouldn’t be surprise if there is sequel in the works.
+ (ok, I take back what I said earlier since I run out of titles; this two deserves another book from their series.)
- All You Desire (Eternal Ones, #2) by Kirsten Miller • I mean after I found out that Adam is…and still…and then…Yes, so many questions! I need to know how did Adam *censored due to spoiler* and what has really happened to him!
- Boundless (Unearthly, #3) by Cynthia Hand • Perpetually sobbing after that massive disappointment that is the ending. Team Christian all the way!
