Aside from rereading, my biggest blogging tip is to take down notes! No, it really is! Nothing complicated but undeniably helpful! It doesn’t have to be super fancy, you can add it to your existing journals if you have one (though it’s great & nice but if you’re in a rush then that might be an issue) but anything will do, even your phone (my favorite app is Google’s Keep! I also use it for blogging!!) just to take down notes.

Yes, all you need to do is write it or if your techie like me type ’em down, as simple as that. I love taking down notes (as I said before) but now that I’ve been doing it for 3 years consistently applying it not only to my blogging routine but to other things as well, I’ve seen so much perks that I ended up revisiting the topic once again. So today, let me talk about taking down notes again and why I love it.

The bestest perk for me is organization. I love how my to-do list are there for me to conquer!

First things first, it helps me organize. I love seeing my tasks, whether something that needs to be done or I’ve already done it. It does feel like taking down notes sounds so mundane but it really makes me more efficient. I can be forgetful (comes with age) but actually I’m more of a success dweller. Like if I finished one task sometimes I felt so accomplished that I forgot some of the things I still needed to do (I go from active to relax mode quick). So checklist is my answer for this issue. I know it’s nothing major, like greatest invention after slice bread kind of idea but a lot of my to-do are streamlined thanks to my notes.

The best bullet against procrastination is time management, and oh boy do taking notes does that too!!

Ah, time is of the essence & sometimes this is something I lack (with my ongoing battle against procrastination, yeah time management is my major problem ). And you know what, taking down notes also has kept me from wasting time. With my work listed, I know which ones I should start working on. I based it from easiest to hardest. So if it will take just few minutes then I will do it first until I’m over with everything in my specific list. Blogging wise, I always take down notes of my topics. The moment I thought of it–in to my topic vault it goes. Remember, taking down notes doesn’t have to be traditional (though I’m loving analog style lately) so this such an easy way of tracking and with amazing perks. I love using my phone for it since 80% of the day I’m holding it or I’m near my phone. And I don’t know about you, there’s a huge overwhelming feeling whenever I crossed off my list. Just make feel like I’m making use of my time wisely.

Peak organized self with just taking down notes!

It’s simple yet pump up my productivity. This is what I love about taking down notes, it such simple idea but has grand result if utilized to the max. It yielded so much results personally. I think I can say that notes has help my blog to produce content consistently. I’m super happy that I forgo the idea of blogging in the moment because I didn’t wanna feel like a pro and insisted this is just a hobby. But that old notion was unhelpful. Not only did it help me ease my routine but I became more productive. Less stress, consistent blogging content, so much goodness in just listing it! So yeah, take down notes!
