Remember this post. Here’s another one but this time it’s manga time to shine. I’m going to highlight this part of the shelves. So you know, I love manga! I love art and I love awesome stories. I was a huge fan before, still am but wavered a little. I only read titles that I really, really love (like Skip Beat and D Gray Man). You can check out my Animelist for the titles/shows I know.

Last time I was too excited I forgot to read the instruction, so here is the how:

Put the number of books on your bookshelf (or if like me you have hundreds of books break it down to 50, 70, 100 – however many books you’d like to play with) into a random number generator this could be via Random Org or simply by pulling numbers out of a hat. For each question draw a number and apply that question to the selected book from your shelf (or wherever you like to store your books.) For example if you pulled the number 11 you’d count across your shelf to the 11th book. It’s as simple as that! – (by Jess Hearts Books)

I’m gonna do 100 this time (there’s plenty more but it’s difficult if I increased it further than that, so yeah). Also, I really recommend these titles, especially to those who want to branch out and want to try some ass kicking manga titles (since I’m more of Shonen (for boys) fan myself). Here ya go!

Book Number: 37 Book: Eyeshield 21 Volume 37 by Riichiro Inagaki & Yusuke Murata

Have you read this book? If so what did you think of it?
Of course and I freaking love it! It’s about American football and I don’t even know football. But thanks to this I learned the mechanics. It’s very nice, hilarious manga with a touch of heart! If y’all like stories about underdogs, this is a perfect title for you!

Book Number: 57 Book: Dengeki Daisy Volume 8 by Kyousuke Mutomi

Q2.) Why did you buy this book? Were you recommended it? Was it a random purchase?
Manga are way expensive than book, I will never, ever buy manga blindly. (Btw the mangaka is a man. Oh boy, he can write swoon worthy scenes like a pro!)

Book Number: 36 Book: D Gray Man Volume 3 by Katsura Hoshino

Q3.) Based on what you know about this book which other book blogger would you recommend it to?
I don’t know have any close bloggers who also love manga like I do. But I really, really rec’ed this series. It’s my absolute favorite manga series of all time.

Book Number: 73 Book: Kamisama Kiss Volume 7 by Julietta Suzuki

Who’s this books bookshelf neighbour?
Skip Beat! Omnibus 1 (calling the attention of Elizabeth!) & Kamisama Kiss Volume 4.

Book Number: 78 Book: Ouran High School Host Club Volume 17  by Hatori Bisco

Q5.) How many books have you read by this book’s author?
Two. I really liked her earlier series called Sennen no Yuki (Millennium Snow). Viz Media is picking up the title again. Hatori-sensei is continuing the series. Oh my gosh Touya-Kun!!!!  (This is a vampire manga. ;D)

Book Number: 23 Book: Naruto Volume 1 by Masashi Kishimoto

Q6.) Do you have any special memories attached to this book?
A lot. Too many to mention.

Book Number: 56 Book: Saiunkoku Monogatari Volume 1 by Yukino Sai & Yura Kairi

Q7.) Is this book part of a series? If it is are you up to date with the series?
Yes. Sadly no. The hard part of being a manga fan not all titles are scanlated. And reading them raw (as in Japanese) is impossible.

Book Number: 97 Book: BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad Volume 7 by Yukino Sai & Yura Kairi

Q8.) Is this book something you’d typically read or is it out of your comfort zone?
Sort of. I love fantasy-esque type of shonen manga. And this one is contemporary but I liked it. It’s about music and it’s fascinating to read a manga when you’re not even hearing any of the music. It’s very good series.

Book Number: 42 Book: Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 27 by Hiromu Arakawa

Q9.) Have you reviewed this book? If yes then share a link to it.
This particular volume, no. But this series, yes. It’s on my private journal and if you have access, you can read ithere.

Book Number: 31 Book: Death Note Volume 1 by Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata

Q10.) Where did you buy this book from?
There are two stores where our mangas are coming from. It is either from Booksale or The Book Depository. This one was from Booksale.

Book Number: 10 Book: One Piece Volume 60 by Eichiiro Oda

Q11.) Roughly how long have you owned this book for?
My sister said one month, she was the one who bought it.

Book Number: 24 Book: Tegami Bachi Volume 9 by Hiroyuki Asada

Q12.) Share the first sentence of this book.

“In all things…the heart must take precedence.”

Book Number: 12 Book: One Piece Volume 54 by Eichiiro Oda

Q13.) What’s your opinion on this book’s cover?
I love Oda-sensei’s art so in short, I loved it!

Book Number: 28 Book: Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan Volume 5 by Hiroshi Shiibashi

Q14.) In a few sentences describe this book in your own words.
You know, if you want authentic Japanese mythology I suggest you to pick this manga up. I’m sorry but the books I read that were set in Japan. Or Japanese inspired were so…wrong. They didn’t get the essence of what a real Japanese story sounds like. No proper research *coughs* Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff *coughs* Nura apart from its very elegant art (Japanese brush strokes Huzzah!) it also has very interesting story. I really, really rec’ed.

And that’s it! Hope you’ll try some of them because I really, really like them. :3
