September ’24 Log: Being Grateful, Small Changes and Excited for Birthday Month Ahead! 🙏✨🧁
As the famous Green Day song goes, “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” writing this on the last day of the month fills me with awe and jittery nervousness because October marks the start of the final quarter of the year, and 2025 is almost here!
September brought improvement over the worries and anxiety that plagued me in August. I found that channeling my worries into writing, almost like communicating with God, helped a lot. I’ve also been consistent with the changes I want to make now that I’m officially—officially accepted 😅 in my late 30s. It feels like it’s time to get my act together and finally step into full adulthood.
Life Lately
- Workout routine established?! Who’s this? It’s me! I’ve been consistently sticking to my workout, the most steady I’ve ever been after all my sad attempts. It’s truly a balance of discipline and goals. The changes I’m making are minimal, but as they say, “slowly but surely,” and they’re right!
- Journaling is back! Another consistency in my routine. Yes, it’s still digital for now, but I’m gaining interest in traditional journaling. I’m scrolling on Shopee for options, looking for the perfect journal to restart my journey. And yes, my long-awaited journal journey post is coming soon! I’m excited!
- Small but impactful changes. I’ve been making a few small tweaks to my daily routine. Though they may be minor, they still require discipline and consistency, and I’m all for it!
- JJK ends. Honestly, I’m ready for it to be over. It feels like a part of the pandemic chapter that needs to close, but I’ll definitely miss Gojo!
- Life updates. There are errands, decisions, and new things I’ve done, am doing, and will do. I pray God continues to guide me on the right path!
October Agenda
- Birthday month! It’s here, so expect the mandatory blog anniversary post!
- Journal journey wrap-up. I want to finish my journal journey feature before the year ends. The posts have been written for over a year (almost two?) now, so it’s time to complete that project too.
- More Birthdays! Mine, my mom’s, and my sister-in-law’s. Entering my late 30s is surreal—it makes me feel old, but I’m thankful for the past year. Every day is a blessing, and God has been so good to me. My prayer remains the same, but that’s between me and God.
- Holiday shopping begins. Is it early? Maybe, but better than having gifts arrive late! There goes this month’s budget.
- New anime season! A complete turnaround from the lackluster summer season. There are so many series I’m excited to watch, but at the top of my list is my current fave manga: Raise wa Tannin ga Ii. I hope it lives up to my expectations! Oh please!
Let’s all aim to be a blessing to one another! Have a fun and marvelous October! 🧸☕🍂🦉
