I haven’t done this in a while. The last wrap-up was in July, and now here we are in November. We only have two months left before 2025 ends. It’s wild how fast time is flying. It’s fascinating but also kinda anxiety-inducing at the same time. But really, all we can do is go with the flow and just live life, I guess??! 🙈

October was jam-packed for me, but let’s run down what happened last month:

Life Lately

• Birthdays! October is my birthday month (and also my mom’s and sister-in-law’s). I didn’t tweet about it because, on my birthday, I had a dental appointment. My last filling caused super sensitivity, and it turned into irreversible pulpitis, so RCT it went. I couldn’t eat much during my birthday dinner (we went Chinese this time), but I was happy to spend it with my family. I had carrot cake again but from a different store. The one I’ve gone to for the past two years is still the best, but it’s nice to try something new.
• Halloween came nice. My sister ordered some pumpkin and banana cheesecake, and it was delicious. We also had a little pictorial for our fur daughter. My sister did everything, I was just the little observer, choosing cute pics. We originally tried a different outfit for her, but she hated it, so my sister switched her to the cowboy outfit instead.
• Work-wise, I’ve been super busy because of all the stuff I have to do, which pushed back my personal project of rehauling this space for my 15th anniversary. Giving myself just a month was not doable—it’s crazy. I overestimated myself. I’m old, my youth is gone! 😂 Even though I didn’t finish the full reno, I still made some cute little improvements here and there.

November

• One more month to go before the holidays. Now that Halloween and All Saints’ Day are over, the Christmas vibes are coming in full blast. My sister’s brewing something new for Christmas, but I’m not sure if it’ll actually happen.
• I’m also thinking about what to gift this Christmas. A lot of them just want money (how uninspiring, people!) but I’m gonna gift anyway. Don’t they know how much I love wrapping gifts? It’s basically my expertise!
• I’m looking forward to the 11.11 sales. I’ve been eyeing a new phone because my old one is dying now! It’s basically on its last legs!!! I’m the type who doesn’t like changing phones often, so it’s lasted me a while. I just hope I can snag a really, really good bargain!
• Maybe I should start planning my year-end specials. At the rate days are flying by, it’ll be December before we know it, and I don’t wanna scramble like I’m grasping at straws trying to meet deadlines because I procrastinated too much haha.
