March ’24 Log: Is it chill that you’re in my head?
So March is over, hello April! 👋 It was kind of a chill month for me overall! I’m happy to be able to channel my energy into other things, which is why I decided not to blog this month. I did save three posts for April, though, so that’s something to look forward to! But I want to keep this productivity as my priority for now. (Although it might seem like I’m stepping back from this space, I’m not! As I mentioned, I have posts scheduled for April!)
March Favorites & Highlights
- Again, a very chill month! I did some minor errands like bb’s annual vaccine schedule. When we went on the originally scheduled date, she seemed to be walking funny, and naturally, my first reaction is to jump to worst-case scenarios. I feared she might have IVDD, which is common among dachshunds due to their long backs. Fortunately, it turned out she just had a bruise and a wound, so she only needed antibiotics for a week. But two vet visits in a month equal a broke fur mama (but she’s worth every peso!)
- I’ve been working on a project I’ve had in mind for some time now (as usual, keeping the details under wraps). I’ve been considering tons of options to bring this idea to life; exploring easy, convenient, and as much as possible wallet-friendly options (
and by that, I mean FREE!). After sorting through everything, I finally figured it out! I’m currently 60% done and couldn’t be prouder of the progress. - We didn’t travel during Lent, despite the extended holidays. We had returned from a trip just two months ago, leaving us with, um, no budget. 🥲 But all is good. I loved chilling in the house, and honestly, the weather is extremely hot and humid, and it makes me not want to go out. The sun can be quite intense. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen or sunblock to protect your skin. Staying indoors is a hella better: it’s less hassle and more economical! 😆
April Agenda!
- I’m on the hunt for birthday gifts for both my nephew and youngest sister! Fortunately, my other sister is taking charge of the preparations, so I’ll just go along with her plans.
- New anime! Oh dear Neptune, I have so many titles I want to try! Of course, there are series that I’m looking forward to watching like Kimetsu and MHA, but it seems like spring will more than make up for the lackluster season that was winter! I’m so excited to start!
- Obviously, the new Taylor Swift album! Who’s excited for The Tortured Poets Department?! Me! 🙌
- Completing that project! I made great use of my holiday time, and I’m super happy with my progress!
- This is another adult task that I have to handle, and ugh, the additional things they’ve thrown in! I’ve been going back and forth to finish that one thing last Feb! And now they’re introducing even more burdensome stuff, making it all the more difficult for us. *kicks sand* But what else can we do but simply, well, do it!
Let’s all have a happy & wonderful April ahead! 🥂☀️🌻
