I’m feeling a little under the weather and lazy (yet here I am browsing Pinterest for inspiration for a project I want to do, which I already hinted at somewhere before). But if I postpone this again, and with July 1 being a work day, meaning a whole week will pass before I get to typing my wrap-up, I guess it’s the right time to write this down (weekend).

I don’t know what this lethargy I’m feeling is, coupled with a dull pressure in my head (which is normal for me, though this time it’s too noticeable to ignore). I don’t know if it’s accumulated fatigue and stress, but I’m feeling a little off. Combine that with some family issues right now, yeah, it really zaps all my energy. Everything’s a bit of a mess right now. And before this becomes a full-fledged rant, I’ll get into it—the monthly wrap-up!

June Favorites & Highlights

• The month felt longer! It also felt like my younger sister had her birthday dinner three times. First, we usually go out for dinner after visiting Dad. Then, the next day was her birthday, which got postponed last minute because my older sister requested to move it to the day she arrived here. We went out for Japanese food all three times, I realized, but on the actual day itself we were already out and decided to eat since we were there. It was nice that everyone was present! We even brought our dog to the actual birthday dinner, even though I was initially against bringing her to malls. We broke our rule because of last April’s heat wave, she was obviously feeling hot, so we decided to bring her to keep her cool. Now she likes going there. Speaking of Lexi, she turned 8 this June. I’m just so emotional about how old she’s getting. I love her to bits!
• We went to the beach again for some major bonding because not everyone was able to join our South Korea trip. It’s monsoon season here already, so it rains mostly in the afternoon. But we were blessed with very good weather when we went out. Seeing my nephews and niece enjoying their time made the long drive worth it. And yep, the dog was there too; she got some vitamin sea as well!
• The major highlight of the month is our South Korea trip! This was an impromptu trip, brought up by my jet-setter sister. I was hesitant about it because of the visa process, which I heard is difficult. Only my younger sister and I had our documents ready. We submitted our applications with very low expectations and just the required documents—no additional ones. But then grandma passed, so we thought it wasn’t going to happen, but we moved it to June to ease things a bit.
• Well, that’s the quick background how our Korea trip formed, but aaaaah! I really enjoyed our trip to South Korea! We went to three cities: Seoul, Busan, and Gyeongju! I fell in love with Gyeongju; it’s such an amazing city! It’s charming with all the history and culture that surrounds it. Mad props to my older sister for bringing us there and adding it to the itinerary! More details about my travel to South Korea in the coming days (fingers crossed I don’t get lazy!).

July Agenda

• My calendar is packed for July! There are so many due dates to meet and tasks to finish! I need to grind daily to make sure I meet all these goals. I also need to work on my finances because the impromptu trip led me to buy things (like new prescription glasses!). I just need to make sure everything’s covered for the month.
• A new anime season is starting, and it’s a very short list for me. I think I only have My Hero Academia and Oshi no Ko to look forward to, with the former being a leftover from the Spring list! I haven’t checked out the other titles coming out, so we’ll see if this meager list gets added to.
• There’s something bugging my mind right now, and it terrifies me (as usual for an anxious person). I pray it’s really nothing, but I can’t help but worry. If things remain the same, I guess I’ll have to see a professional for a better assessment. This will bug me for days, I’m sure, but please God, I hope it’s okay. I hope things are okay.
