Life Lately

I realized that I’m going back to my habit of writing long-a/ss 🍑 blog posts when the whole objective of my rehaul was to cut it short and make it “tl;dr”. 😮‍💨 Anyways, I’ll try to review the month as briefly as possible, so here we go!

July Highlights

  • I blogged about my trip to Korea (part 1, part 2). I still have the Gyeongju post left, but yay for productivity!
  • I’ve been busy with personal projects, both online and offline, so yeah, my hands are tied!
  • We celebrated our niece’s birthday—just us, her aunties, and her little brother. We weren’t able to attend the actual party because of the typhoon.
  • Speaking of the typhoon, we didn’t have electricity for almost 48 hours! The entire capital was submerged in flood! It was terrifying. Thankfully, we’re okay and not affected by the flood (hello, mid-rise building), but it’s hard to function without power and water!
  • I did a lot of reading! BOOKS! Okay, just two, and they were rereads. But I really loved the Unearthly (all-time fave book of the series is of course Hallowed) series. It was so good, even after all these years!
  • I don’t have any seasonal anime impressions this time because I’m only watching these two (My Hero Academia and Oshi no Ko), so I’ve decided not to write about it.
  • I’m trying to schedule an appointment because my menstrual cycle is acting weird, and these new symptoms are worrying!

August Agenda

  • Blog more! I want to move away from life posts (like this 😌💦) and get back to micro-blogging about hobbies and interests!
  • Post that Gyeongju trip! And maybe upload some SK photos to my Mitchii IG (my RL/personal IG is always up-to-date!).
  • Finish those personal projects! I tend to start new ones when I’m 90% done. It’s a bad habit, I know!
  • Sort out some very important personal stuff! Tough it up, self, and don’t be lazy!

It’s “salt air and rust on your door” month again! Time flies! Let’s vibe and thrive this August! ✨️🌿
