Someone said that maybe we could still be in this situation few more years from now, and that’s somehow terrifying because it could be true! When the pandemic happened,  I thought that we can weather it for few months, and maybe a year and few more months at most! But almost two years in, and life didn’t get all that better. Variants are spreading, stronger ones at that; and even though I’m vaccinated (just few days ago!), the anxiety won’t completely calm down.

So maybe, we really couldn’t get our normal lives back again.  There will be changes for sure! We have to deal with lots of compromises and do a lot more sacrifices so we can live a life safely with this virus still being here. I think we are changed forever as a society. Personally, I will carry the health protocols even after things have eased down.  I could no longer see outside world so carelessly like I did before!
